January 17: Bootcamp
Join us for a high energy workout out in the open air. This is a fun-filled hour dedicated to functional training that will improve your everyday life. Class will focus on total body strengthening, improving agility, increasing cardiovascular fitness, and developing a stronger core. Get away from boring workouts and give your body & mind a boost. This bootcamp is for all levels of fitness. Be sure to bring water!
January 24: Aquafit
Take the pressure off your joints and get the ultimate workout in the water! Aquafit classes are a great aerobic workout as you are moving your body through constant resistance. It’s smooth, it’s fun and you determine the intensity level that works for you. The best part is aquafit keeps you cool even when the workout get tough!
January 31: Massage

February 7: Moksha Hot Yoga
Moksha yoga is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen and detoxify the entire body.
February 14: Hip Hop Dance
Students will gain an understanding of hip hop through the incorporation of technique, history and combos. Dancers will learn some of the moves they have seen through current media as well as the grooving that hip hop is based on. According to group interest, styles to cover can include Old School, New School, ISO, Waacking, Waving and Popping.
February 28: Q & A with Naturopath & Smoothies
Bring your questions for Dr. Clare Craig! Learn about Naturopathic Medicine, it’s philosophy, treatment, modalities, education and training. Dr. Craig will also provide some Naturopathic basics to improving diet and lifestyle so you can leave the session with hands on tools to make you and better you!
March 6: Rock Climbing
If you've never climbed before this is a great introduction! Romper Room will supply you with all the gear and your own guide. Learn the basics and simply test yourself. You don’t need to get
March 13: Wrap Up Night Scavenger Hunt
Congratulations-you did it! Celebrate your last class with a fun, yet physical Scavenger hunt led by one of VIU’s own student fitness leaders! Is there more to this class? You will just have to wait and find out!
