This nine month program prepares you for employment in the inboard/outboard marine technician or outdoor power equipment technician jobs. Upon completion, you will be trained in the theoretical and practical knowledge essential for the proper maintenance, service and repair of chainsaws, outdoor power products, outboard and inboard/outboard motors.

Instruction consists of classroom lectures, labs and field training. There is also a two-week practicum with shops in and around Nanaimo.
